Depths of Discovery is a Dutch foundation that empowers young adults aged 18–30 facing social, educational, or economic barriers. We strive to create accessible pathways that enable meaningful participation in various facets of life.
A society in which no young adult is left on the margins — where structural barriers to participation are reduced, communities are more socially cohesive, and every person has a genuine route to contribute to, and benefit from, public life.
We reduce social exclusion and strengthen the societal participation of young adults and others in a vulnerable or disadvantaged position, through accessible programmes, mentoring and community-based activities that open routes into education, employment and civic life.
Who we support: Our initial priority group is young adults aged 18–30 who experience barriers to education, employment, volunteering or community life. “People in transition” remains a wider description of the life stages and changes participants may be navigating.
